Red Chilli Rest Camp Murchison Falls National Park
What we offer:
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest national park in Uganda, offering an unrivalled experience including classic ‘big game’ viewing opportunities, chimpanzee tracking, breathtaking African scenery, the awesome river Nile, and the eponymous falls.
Red Chilli is superbly located to explore Murchison. We are at Paraa on the southern banks of the River Nile in the heart of the park. Our camp is just 500 metres from the Paraa ferry, where all vehicles cross the Nile for game drives around the Nile Delta, and where boats can be hired for game viewing and sport fishing.

We have a fully stocked bar and restaurant below a large open thatched roof with spectacular views towards the Nile. The restaurant is open daily from 6.30a.m. until 9.30p.m. with the bar serving drinks until midnight. A bonfire is lit every evening for the full ‘safari’ experience. Our modern toilets and showers are newly built, with provision for disabled visitors.
For those on a tight budget, or without their own transport, we run a very popular three day safari tour to Murchison departing from Kampala several times a week. We can also cater for those wanting exclusive tours. Please enquire for further information.
Great Value Accommodation:
We offer the only low to mid budget accommodation in the park, in furnished safari tents and bandas (thatched huts built in the Ugandan style), as well as the only camping facilities with modern showers, toilets, cooking area and security lighting.
