Red Chilli Murchison Falls Trips

On a tight budget and want to experience one of the most unique game parks in Africa? Then why not join one of our low-cost scheduled trips to Murchison Falls?

Day 1. 08.30 a.m. Depart Red Chilli Kampala on one of our 8-seater customized safari minibuses. Take lunch in Masindi before heading into the park. Proceed to the Red Chilli Rest Camp for sundowners and a meal before settling in for the night.

Day 2. 6.45 a.m. Cross the Nile for a 4 hour morning game-drive around the Victoria Nile delta area of the park. This is where the most game gathers and where there are spectacular views across Lake Albert into Congo and northern Uganda. 13.45 p.m. Depart for a 3 hour afternoon boat launch trip up-stream towards the base of Murchison Falls. Hippos, huge Nile Crocodiles and fantastically varied bird-life abound. You might also see elephants drinking at the water’s edge. A second night spent taking in our hospitality and sitting around the campfire.

Day 3. 08.30 a.m. Depart to top of the falls for a Guided walk. Stop in Masindi for lunch. Return to Kampala.

Red Chilli Tour to Murchison Falls. Rates effective October 1st 2007 (100kb).

The trip is inclusive of all park entrance fees and activities, 2 nights accommodation in 2 bed safari tents with shared bathroom facilities (upgrades are available), all transport to and from Kampala. Meals, drinks, tips and any personal items are excluded. We have a fully stocked restaurant and bar at the Rest Camp. An average main meal costs Ushs 6,000.

We offer one night’s free camping or dormitory accommodation at Red Chilli Kampala the night before the trip departs.

Trips as indicated above are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and run according to demand. Specially designed ‘exclusive’ trips can be organised according to customer requirements.
