Book your Murchison Falls Trip hereRed Chilli Big Six Murchison Falls Safari

Similar to our very popular Standard Murchison Falls Safari and Big 5 Safari but now also including rhino tracking and Chimpanzees.

The itinerary is detailed below:

Day 1.

8.30 a.m. Depart Red Chilli Kampala on one of our 8-seater customised safari minibuses. Drive to the 3,500 acre Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, south of Masindi. You will pick up a ranger and drive to within 1km of the rhinos. The approach is done on foot and most groups get to within 20 metres of these huge animals. There is a fairly high chance of seeing one of the three young rhino calves.

1.00 p.m. Take lunch at the Sanctuary and drive through the Murchison Falls park to arrive at the Red Chilli Rest Camp for sundowners and a meal before settling in for the night.

This is where the most big game gathers and where there are spectacular views across Lake Albert towards the Blue Mountains of the Congo and northern Uganda. There is a very high chance of seeing lion, buffalo, elephant, giraffe as well as many types of antelope and varied bird life. You might even get lucky and spot a leopard.
